Peaceful Path Yoga Project offers free yoga and meditation to under-served community members in the Ottawa Valley, in an effort to improve resiliency, empowerment and to make health and wellness accessible for all.

Peaceful Path Yoga Project is working in partnership with Columbus House offering an ongoing, year long, FREE, weekly yoga and meditation class to their Young Parents Support Program. Columbus House seeks to improve the quality of life for youth and young parents in Renfrew County by providing structured, supportive and safe residential and day programs for students aged 16 – 24 while they are pursuing their education and job training.

In partnership with The Women’s Sexual Assault Centre of Renfrew County and in celebration of International Women’s Day, Peaceful Path Yoga Project is offering a WOMEN’S DAY OF WELLNESS on Saturday, March 4th, 2017. A full day of yoga and meditation, journalling and discussion along with a delicious, healthy, organic meal. This day is for women survivors of sexual assault and will provide a safe and empowering space where women can find peace in their bodies and their minds, and experience first hand the healing benefits of yoga and meditation. The Women’s Sexual Assault Centre of Renfrew County provides emotional support, information and advocacy to women and girls who have been affected by sexual violence.

PPYP is eager to develop new partnerships with existing community organizations that have solid community outreach programs in place. If you are interested in partnering or have an idea, please feel free to get in touch at info@peacefulpath.org
